Frenchie Sitter

What is this?

Frenchie Sitter is a free virtual French Bulldog you look after in your browser. Feed, play, and nap with your Frenchie to keep them happy, then spend the bones you earn on sweaters, hats, beds, houses, toys, and new places to hang out.

Stay a while and things happen: zoomies, stolen socks, squirrels, and a few very rare surprises. Your progress saves on this device. If you switch tabs, your Frenchie waits by the door.

What can I buy for my Frenchie?

Clothes: a blue beanie, party hat, bucket hat, beret, chef hat, cowboy hat, propeller cap, royal crown, a flower crown you unlock by sharing, round glasses, heart shades, aviators, a monocle, a red collar, bandana, bow tie, knit scarf, pearl necklace, gold chain, striped sweater, tutu, cozy hoodie, yellow raincoat, hero cape, and a tuxedo.

Home: a blue cushion, donut bed, royal bed, camping tent, red doghouse, tiny castle, tennis ball, squeaky duck, teddy bear, and frisbee. Places: the living room, a backyard, a beach day, and outer space.

Every October there's a Halloween set, in the shop until November 2: a witch hat, devil horns, a pumpkin costume, bat wings, a skeleton suit, a jack-o'-lantern, and a spooky night to visit.

From November 3 to 30 there's a Thanksgiving set: a pilgrim hat, an autumn leaf crown, a harvest scarf, a turkey costume, a pumpkin pie, corn on the cob, and a harvest farm. From December 1 to January 6 there's a Christmas set: a Santa hat, reindeer antlers, a jingle bell collar, a holiday sweater, a Santa suit, a wrapped present, a tiny snowman, and a winter wonderland. Anything you buy from a holiday set is yours to keep.

What coats can my Frenchie have?

Eleven: fawn, cream, brindle, black, blue, pied, white, lilac, chocolate, merle, and rainbow. You pick one when you adopt and can change it any time in the Your Frenchie section.

What happens while I watch?

The Pup Log collects 42 moments, from common ones like sploots, head tilts, tail wags, and big snorts to rarer ones like zoomies, a happy dance, a stolen sock, the mail carrier, a golden bone, a mystery package with a free item, and a snort so big it makes a rainbow. Some only happen after you stay 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Is Frenchie Sitter free?

Yes. It runs in any web browser on phone or computer, with no download, account, or sign-up. If you want extra bones, there's an optional Bag of Bones for $2.99.

Can I play on more than one device?

Yes, without an account. In the Your Frenchie section, copy your Frenchie code and paste it on your other device.

Can other people see my Frenchie?

Only what you choose to share. Your Frenchie lives in your browser. When you share, friends get a picture and a link that shows them your Frenchie's name, coat, and outfit, with a button to adopt their own. They can't play with, change, or copy yours.

Do I get anything for sharing?

Yes. Your first share each day earns 25 bones, and your first share ever unlocks the Social Butterfly badge and a flower crown. A friend who adopts a Frenchie after opening your link starts with 50 free bones.

How do I earn bones?

You earn about 100 bones for every hour you spend with your Frenchie. Earning stops when you leave the page or go 10 minutes without tapping anything. Each day in a row you visit adds 10% to your rate, up to double speed at an 11-day streak. New Pup Log moments and good care give small extra bonuses. A very unhappy Frenchie earns at half speed, so keep those meters up.

What happens if I stop visiting?

Your Frenchie gets a little hungry and bored, and very happy to see you when you come back. They never get sick.
